Mei Wu Easy Coating Waterproof Slurry
Product Introduction:
Mei Wu Easy Coating Waterproof Slurry is a two-component water-based waterproof slurry made by proportionally mixing an organic liquid material composed of high-quality acrylic emulsion and various additives, and an inorganic powder material composed of special cement and various fillers.
Implementation Standard: JC/T 984-2011 "Polymer Cement Waterproof Mortar" DI type
Product Characteristics:
● Strong crack resistance: Fiber-reinforced formula, effectively prevents cracking;
● Anti-seepage and moisture-proof: High anti-seepage and moisture-proof;
● Long-term water resistance: Good water resistance;
● Strong bonding force: Strong bonding strength with solid substrates;
● Strong workability: Can be applied to damp substrates without standing water;
● Environmentally friendly and safe: Water-based, safe and environmentally friendly.
Application Scope:
● Suitable for waterproofing and moisture-proofing in bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and floors;
● Suitable for back-surface seepage and moisture-proofing treatment in basements and other projects.
Construction Process:
● Base layer treatment: The base leveling layer is completed, and the inner and outer corners are made into 50° arc shapes; the surface of the base layer is cleaned, and floating dust is removed using a blower and vacuum cleaner; protruding cement and hollowing on the base layer are removed, and cracks and defective holes are repaired;
● Wetting the base surface: Before waterproof construction, the base layer must be fully wetted with clean water to saturation, but there should be no standing water;
● Mixing: According to the ratio, pour the liquid material into the mixing bucket first, and slowly add the powder material while stirring, using an electric mixer to stir until uniform and without lumps;
● Large-area coating: The waterproof coating should be applied in two to three coats. Each coat should be dried before the next process, and the time interval should not exceed 24h. In low-temperature or humid environments, the drying time should be extended appropriately. The direction of the first coat should be perpendicular to the direction of the second coat, i.e., a "cross" coating method;
● Water retention test: After the waterproof coating is completely dry, a water retention test is carried out. The appropriate water retention test time is 24h. After passing the acceptance, the protective isolation layer is constructed according to the design requirements.
Construction Points:
● The construction temperature should be between 5℃ and 35℃. Construction is prohibited outdoors in windy, rainy, or snowy weather;
● The prepared coating should be used up within 1 hour, and no water should be added during the coating process;
● Do not add excessive water or any other materials during the mixing process;
● Unused liquid or powder materials should be sealed and stored after opening.
Liquid-powder ratio:
● Liquid: Powder = 1:2.77 (weight ratio)
● Reference usage: When the total thickness of the coating is 1.0mm, the per square meter usage is 2.0-2.2 kg (the actual usage should be adjusted according to the condition of the base surface)
Packaging Specifications: 17kg/bucket
Shelf Life: The shelf life of unopened products stored in a cool and dry place is 12 months.
