C1 Big Brick Treasure

Product Introduction:
C1 Big Brick Treasure tile adhesive is a powder-type environmentally friendly tile adhesive made with high-quality cement as the binder and refined sand as the raw material, and with the addition of various functional auxiliaries. It is suitable for ordinary bricks and glazed tiles with indoor water absorption rate ≥0.5% and size ≤300×600mm and water absorption rate ≥3% and size ≤600×600mm. It has the characteristics of high bonding strength, no hollowing, and convenient construction.

Implementation Standard: 《Ceramic Tile Adhesive》JC/T547-2017 C1

Product Features:
Strong bonding: Special bonding elements are added to the material, suitable for bonding large tiles;
Good water retention: Water-retaining agent is added, the tile adhesive has better water retention;
Good environmental protection: Materials are all environmentally friendly elements, water as the medium, safe and environmentally friendly.

Scope of application:
Suitable for indoor ordinary bricks and glazed tiles with water absorption rate ≥0.5% and size ≤300×600mm and water absorption rate ≥3% and size ≤600×600mm.
Note: When using tiles with a water absorption rate below 0.5%, they must be used with tile back adhesive.

Construction Process:
Base layer treatment
The base layer should be flat, firm, free of floating ash and oil stains. For base layers with cracks and unevenness, leveling treatment should be carried out. For base layers with high water absorption and dryness, wetting treatment should be carried out; clean the oil stains, floating ash, and release agents on the back of the tiles;
Mixing
Mix according to the recommended water-cement ratio. The actual amount depends on the thickness and size of the bricks; when mixing, pour water into the mixing bucket first, add powder while stirring, and use an electric mixer to stir until there are no powder lumps; let it stand for about 2-3 minutes after stirring, then stir for another 1 minute before use, which can increase the bonding strength;

Tile laying:
First, use a trowel to apply a thin layer of tile adhesive to the base layer, then apply a thick layer of tile adhesive, and use a notched trowel to comb the tile adhesive layer to make it evenly distributed. The area of each scraping should not exceed 1 square meter. Finally, press the tile onto the base layer; the tile adhesive should be laid as soon as possible after scraping to avoid drying of the surface of the tile adhesive;
The depth of the trowel teeth should consider the flatness of the work, the size of the tiles, and the degree of concavity and convexity of the back of the tiles;
After the tiles are laid, the surface of the tiles should be cleaned immediately, and the excess tile adhesive in the joints should be cleaned. The subsequent construction can be carried out only after the tiles are completely dry.

Construction points:
The construction environment temperature should be 5℃~35℃; avoid construction in rainy, high temperature, strong wind, and frost;
The release agent on the back of the tile must be cleaned before tiling;
A gap of no less than 2mm must be left between the bricks;
After the tiles are laid, the grouting process can be carried out only after the tile adhesive has hardened.
Construction ratio: Water-cement ratio = 0.2-0.25:1 (weight ratio)
Reference usage: 2.2-2.7kg/m2.mm (the actual usage varies depending on the thickness during tiling, the size of the bricks, and the flatness of the base surface)

Packaging specifications: 20KG/bag
Shelf life: The shelf life of unopened products stored in a cool and dry place is 12 months.
